THE BRIEF

Nicky at NDT Boxing wanted to show what the Felixstowe gym means to the people who walk through its doors. The real story was not equipment or training plans; it was her journey, the community she has built and the confidence the gym gives its members.

THE APPROACH

The film was built around an in-depth, unscripted interview with Nicky and cinematic footage captured during a working day inside the gym. Rather than asking her to perform, we allowed the conversation to develop naturally and used the edit, sound design and B-roll to reveal the emotional story behind the business.
